 To facilitate transformation of students to morally sound and professionally outstanding food processing engineers to uplift the nutritional and economic status of the countrymen by empowering the food processing industry.

Mission of the department

M1 : To raise exceptional food quality engineers, academicians, researchers to bring innovations and solutions in Food Technology.
M2 : To develop students as leaders in frontier areas of Food Technology.
M3 : To enrich Industry and Institute partnership thereby enhancing entrepreneurial ventures.
