The Exhilarating story of our Alumni Karthik B that demonstrates our self- confidence is the biggest secret of success

Karthik B, a 2017 graduate of Electronics and Communication Engineering degree Program, shares the values and experience he gained at Sri Shakthi and how they persistently play a vital role in his life and work today.

In the year 2013, Karthik came to Sri Shakthi for the first time and had to live outside of his hometown Palladam, Tirupur District. At that time, he was not only elated about the fact that he would be commencing his studies in the field he was most passionate about, but also he can do so at one of the excellent technical institutions of the Country. His father and mother are from the agricultural background and stood by his side in the most crucial transition of his life.

After the orientation, Karthik had a great deal of zest and realized what the institution will offer through this degree program. In his first year, he gradually started to get the feeling that the pieces from a puzzle in his life were beginning to come together.

The faculties were tremendously influential throughout his life at campus. Right from the beginning, Karthik was accompanied by faculties who concerned and enquired about his wellbeing, as well as providing the support when he is adapting to the college surroundings.

The first lesson he learnt at Sri Shakthi was compassion for others, and he credits the staff and lecturers for playing an instrumental role in that lesson. The careful guidance of faculties made him flourish at the institution and helped him earn several rewards for which he is always proud of.

At Sri Shakthi, Karthik was provided with an environment where he learnt how important it was to appreciate the existence of different cultures, languages, and beliefs. He got access to facilities and equipment that he would never have had it any other place. He worked in the state-of-the-art laboratories, he actively took part in college life through sporting and technical events. He also had important networking opportunities, through which he was able to build friendships which last to this day.

All the activities he involved in were particularly meaningful and helped Karthik for delivering an all-round performance throughout his time at the campus. He had the best academic records and received the best project award in the project contest. He finished as winners at the department quiz competition. He also won prizes in cricket and chess games.

In his Sri Shakthi experience, Karthik gained values which he has carried ever since. He was given credit for his sense of discipline, respect for hard work, and critical thinking abilities. During the end of his graduation, he got the chance to fulfil his major aspiration of getting a job in the top industry and by clearing 5 rounds of interview and he well deservingly sealed himself a position in HP enterprise.

Today, Karthik is working as an Info developer for over 2.5 years at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Bangalore. Besides his work life, Karthik is making a notable contribution to the community in many ways such as involving in flood rescue operations, corona rescue support and by supplying ayurvedic and safety products to villages. He is a blood donor, and also frequently he supplies fertilizers and pesticides to his village farmers to promote vegetation yields.
