The Encouraging Story of our Alumni Arun Prabath that describes how a degree at Sri Shakthi helped him have a clear career path
Arun Prabath, a 2018 graduate of Sri Shakthi's bachelor degree program, always believed he would be an engineer when he grew up. Not only did he dream about it, but he also worked diligently towards his goal—eventually majoring in Civil Engineering.
Looking back at the time, when Arun Prabath was still in school and discovered his desire for innovation continued to evolve. It was the year 2014, he came to Sri Shakthi Campus for the first time from Pariyur, Gobichettipalayam, Erode District. His father is a farmer and mother is a homemaker.
The first impression itself encourages the positive self-development side of ambitious Arun Prabath. He was so inspired to start his career on the campus that had it all for him to study and live his dreams.
The overall innovation and diversity in the environment of Sri Shakthi caught the attention of Arun Prabath and motivated him to have unique aspirations. During his time at campus, Arun Prabath participated in various skill development programs and aspired to make understand and appreciate the profound impact of the engineering profession on sociocultural systems among the public.
Arun Prabath also aspired to make the public recognize the union of professionalism. He really thought of technical knowledge, social and historical awareness, and traditions that serve to make engineers competent to address.
Arun Prabath had the chance to mould himself from the curriculum and participated in experiential learning through a real-time project. The project experience help students to develop skills and learn the process of starting and completing a project.
Arun Prabath also had useful discussions with Professors of the institution that led him to the perfect solution for his goals and interests. He was overwhelmed to extract a lot from the faculties, the real host of knowledge and appreciated for being able to tap into their expertise for guidance and clarity.
Since many of the program’s faculty members are also from a technical background, they were able to bring a real-world perspective to their teaching which was something Arun Prabath enjoyed in his Sri Shakthi experience. He shined in many different roles such as the Class topper, Zonal volleyball player, Cube contest winner in Amrita University in 2017.
In 2018 after his graduation, as per his aspirations, Arun Prabath became the managing director of Weaver's Nest, Tirupur. It's been 2 years now, from where he started and he is continuing to thrive in that role with more big goals in his mind. The desire to do something for society is always in the blood of the students of Sri Shakthi, Arun Prabath for his part constructed Bio-toilet at Moolanur village for free of cost.
