• Achieve income generation targets from research funding agencies and ensure that the Institute capitalises upon funding initiatives from the Indian government and international sources in furtherance of its research departments
• Combine and integrate the skills and expertise of highly motivated staff into multi disciplinary teams, developing and building upon existing collaborations as well as creating/facilitating new opportunities in Research
• Develop and oversee budgets, policies and procedures for the Research Department.

• Manages the campus security workforce and surveillance technology to provide a safe campus atmosphere.
• Ensures road and campus discipline from students, faculty , non teaching staff and visitors.

We have a campus of 16 acres with 3000 students and 250 faculty members with 50 classrooms and 15 laboratories. Around 1000 student reside in the hostels and another 1500 students commute by the college buses. And at the moment, the Campus runs mostly on generators.

As we look to scale up the faculty and student strength, we need a Operations and Infrastructure Lead who can manage a team to deliver a friendly campus experience to our students, faculty and guests.

• Understand the infrastructure and operational needs in a University environment.
• Minimum 5 years of experience at a University or Factory / Plant set up.

• Monitor the infrastructure development work across the campus.
• Manage the Electric power supply across the campus
• Manage the Security personnel to ensure a safe campus
• Manage the Fleet of Buses for maintenance and on-time running.
• Manage a House Keeping team to ensure a Hygienic environment across the campus.
• Adopt a technologically savvy method to manage the above operational needs.

Desirable Characteristics

• Network and Know-how of scaling the recruitment process across the state (in the short term) and across the country (in the long term)
• Minimum 5 years of experience at a University or Industry in this line of activity.

Scope of work

• Manage the Recruitment, On-boarding, Engagement initiatives and Exit process for our teaching Faculty , non-teaching Staff and managerial executives in Operations, Finance & Marketing.
• Design, Develop and manage a performance management system for our engineering faculty members
• Manage the industry linked academic initiatives for progress and completion of key deliverables.

Desirable Characteristics

• 3-5 years of work experience in this line of activity at a University / Engineering college / CBSE school / Entrance exam coaching centres
• Willingness to travel to different states across India.

• Manage a team of executives to achieve the admission diversity goals  for our Engineering College and CBSE school.
