The Wonderful Story of our Alumni Harsh Mapara who came to the Distance for Dreams
Rolling back the years to 2011, the day arrived for a fresh and enthusiastic young boy to begin a new phase of his life at a new place. Harsh Mapara from Jharia, Dhanbad, came to Sri Shakthi Institute of Engineering and Technology to complete his degree program in the Information Technology and recognized our place as his home away from home to learn and chase his dreams. His Father is an entrepreneur and mother is a homemaker.
Sri Shakthi's learning beyond the classroom approach helped Harsh Mapara to flourish during his life at campus. His first achievement came at TechBash’12, where he won 2nd Prize for the paper presentation on “Open Source Technology”. At Dhrona’13 conducted by Kathir College of Engineering & Technology in 2012, Harsh Mapara presented another paper on “Green Computing" which gave him the confidence to move forward towards his ambitions of getting placed in his dream company.
Sri Shakthi's aim to prepare our students for life rather than focusing only on academics, encouraged Harsh Mapara to develop his skills for the real world. He earned Level-1 certificate for Graphic Designing from Apex Institute of Multimedia in March 2013. In 2013-14, designed and developed a website for an external client and was rewarded cash prize for the same. During 2014-2015, he completed the Radix Training Program conducted by IIIT Bangalore.
Sri Shakthi is the place of origin for many success stories, by the end of his graduation Harsh Mapara had all the essential knowledge and experience to script his own story. He went to his dream job, and currently, he is the techie with 4+ Years of experience working as a Project Specialist in an Indian firm named Payoda Tech. Pvt. Ltd. The habit of involving in various activities and gaining achievements that he developed in our campus has earned him many rewards in his career, he was awarded Rookie of the Year during 2015 at Payoda Tech. Pvt. Ltd. In the years 2016, 2017 & 2018, he won the Best Team award and during 2017 & 2018 received Quarterly SPOT Awards. Our students never forget to give it back to society, and Harsh Mapara is no different from others, he is a regular blood donor and contributor to the road safety patrol.
