Intellectual property Rights (IPR) Cell

Intellectual property Rights plays an important role in Technical and Engineering Institutions. The tangible assets like inventions, designs, literary or artistic work, images, symbols and other creative and innovative ideas are more valuable than physical assets in an institution. SIET IPR Cell is committed to encourage, protect, manage and commercialize Intellectual Property such as Patent, Copyright, Trademark etc. generated through the College. The IPR cell creates an encouraging environment in the academics by providing suitable training, research and awareness programs for students and faculties. The IPR Cell safeguards their inventions and commercializes their intellectual property with legal and expert support wherever necessary. Faculty and students of different disciplines are actively participating in the Patent filing process and IPR activities.

To create encouraging environment in the academics for the development of Intellectual Property Rights and protect, manage and commercialize Intellectual Property Rights generated through Research and Development activities in the College.
