1) Industry oriented curriculum supported with subject wise industrial visits, in-plant trainings and internships to enhance knowledge and skills of the student in an easy and effective manner. Continuous update of curriculum based on recent industry trends.

2) Specific training is given to the students in the field of Design, Manufacturing, Robotics and Automation through softwares and real time industrial projects based on their interests and skills.

3) The students are highly encouraged to participate in the competitions like REEV and BAJA conducted by Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and other events namely ATV and Mega ATV with 50% Management Sponsorship.

4) Intensive GATE training Programme for the students at the end of III year with 50% Management Sponsorship.

5) Separate Fabrication Lab to fabricate vehicles for the above competitions and students’ projects.

6) The Department produces 100% Placement every year.

7) The Department is accredited by NBA and has Anna University approved Research Centre.

8) Experienced Faculty members to teach both theory and practical subjects. Faculty members support students to get NPTEL and other online certifications.

1) In-house Training and Certifications – Autodesk certification for AutoCAD and CATIA, Dassault certification for Solidworks -  Certified SOLIDWORKS Associate (CSWA), Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional (CSWP).

2) Special labs like Automotive Engines Lab, Engineering Exploration Lab and 3D Printing Lab

3) Mechanical students are also trained in Electrical Controls, Sensors, Automation and Programming in Exploration Lab.

4) Enhanced training on Programming in C, Python and Java for interested students using extraordinary industry oriented training team.

5) Demo classes using Cut Section models like Bike Cut Section, TATA Safari Cut Section, Tractor Cut Section
